WATERFRONT RESTAURANT
A mile from Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, California. Waterfront Restaurant boasts a view that far surpasses the tourist hubs. Opened in 1969, we soon became a favorite among local politicians and business people, and in time locals and foreign visitors were drawn to the breathtaking bayscape, farm-to-table produce, and sustainable seafood.
Waterfront Restaurant received a multi-million dollar renovation in 1997. Transforming it into one of San Francisco’s foremost dining destinations. The renovation went beyond brick-and-mortar changes and included a complete overhaul of our long-standing seafood menu. And it worked! Today, Waterfront Restaurant is the choice of presidents and princes, celebrities and travelers.

In 1983, Hog Island began farming oyster in the tiny hamlet of Marshall on scenic coast Highway one just about two hours north of San Francisco. The company grows and sells over 3 million oysters a year. Hog Island shellfish are grown using a refined technique from France.

SLANTED DOOR
The Slanted Door is Charles Phan’s nationally- acclaimed Vietnamese restaurant that anchors the north-east corner of the marketplace. Charles first opened the Slanted Door in the Mission district of San Francisco in 1995. The Slanted Door offers diners a gourmet experience where the food on the plate looks as beautiful as the views of the bay bridge and the bay lights in the evening from every table. Charles phan, the executive chef, goes to the root of the dishes to represent the food authentically with a modern twist. The slanted door offers lunch and dinner menus with a variety of appetizers and main dishes.
The meals consist of organic elements including grass-fed beef and pasture-raised, cage-free chickens. Local seafood options include wild gulf shrimp, spicy Monterey squid, and seared Ahi tuna, or visitors can take advantage of the raw seafood bar.
