As people fighting against the coronavirus pandemic and the world going through a complete lockdown, wildlife is occupying the streets, water in canals becoming clearer than before and the air pollution level drops with a record.
In recent times, Jalandhar residents woke up witnessing the Dhauladhar mountain of Himachal Pradesh from their rooftops. Now, as the Air Quality Index (AQI) level dropped below 50 in the Uttar Pradesh town, the marvelous snow-capped Himalayan peaks are visible from Saharanpur.
This generation of people was only hearing the stories told by their elders that they used to see the Himalayan peaks from the dusty mofussil. For the first time in over 30 years, it’s truly a blessing and surprise for many witnessing the snow-laden very clearly once again from a distance of about 200km in Saharanpur amidst the lockdown.
